Title: Technologist/Draftsperson

Responsibility:

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Interpreting an applying construction drawings
• Site work such as field measurements, test pitting, borehole logging etc.
• Producing as-built drawings and updating quantities from field data
• Reviewing sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received to produce quantity calculations and reports
• Drafting plans and detailed drawings for earthwork structures, installations, and construction projects such as highways, waste disposal systems, site investigations, and site grading developments, working from sketches or notes

Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent in Computer Aided Drafting from a recognized institution
• Exposure to construction activities is valuable
• Exposure to geotechnical activities is valuable
• Proficient in using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Land Development Desktop
• Strong computer skills utilizing MS Office
