Mitchelmore Engineering Company (Meco) was contracted by the residential property owner in Corner Brook, NL to design remedial measures for a home that had sustained excessive settlement.
The home was built on engineered fill in 1999 and experienced settlement of 150 mm after only one months occupancy. The house had been vacant from 1999 to 2003.
