Meco was retained by Nova Scotia Power for structural evaluation of hoisting equipment. Work involves performing structural analysis, developing a catalogue of drawings, testing, and inspections for all the lifting equipment use for seventeen (17) hydro systems operated and owned by NSPI. The project ensures that the devices met the present day code and any deficient devices are modified or replaced ensuring the safety of the NSP personnel that must operate the equipment.
